At my office, there are a lot of people into cars, which is cool. There’s basically two camps: the truck guys and the German car guys. I, being an idiot with too many cars, fall into both categories. I’ve been waiting for these two to park next to each other and today they finally did!

The 5-series in the background is a 535d xDrive and that guy also has a stick shift E60 M5. Another guy I work with has an Audi S3. People at another company in the building have a Panamera Turbo and a Macan Turbo.

The 4Runner is an SR5 Premium but he added most of the TRD bits: wheels, hood, bumper, intake, ECU tune, etc. Also added some aftermarket skid plates and some air bags to the rear axle to help with towing. The F-150 is an EcoBoost with a bit of a lift, exhaust, Hankook Dynapro A-TMs, skids, light bars stealthed in behind the grille, etc.

And then there’s me, with my 135is and Hemi Grand Cherokee, so I exist in both the bro truck and German car universes. I’m like the Flash in the Multiverse.

I love the TRD Pro 4Runner. Unfortunately, my wife made sense when I looked at new trucks a few months ago. She said “’Wagen - I want the new XC60, go buy a full-size truck. We can’t both have SUVs.” So go buy a full-size truck I did...

This one doesn’t have the fancy 4wd gizmos on the Trail Edition and TRD Pro, but it has a bunch of other TRD stuff.

I’ve always worked around people who drive pickup trucks - doesn’t matter if it’s the city or the ‘burbs, pretty much everyone has a truck. I know your pain:
